ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project is designed to enhance students' key competencies, empowering them to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. In this context, it aims to raise awareness about opportunities in entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, human rights, diversity, and inclusion.

It is essential for all citizens to be aware of global issues and the ways they can take action to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through our project, we aim to educate students to become active, responsible, and productive EU citizens who are not only informed about global challenges but also equipped with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to respond effectively and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' SDGs.

OBJECTIVES

Our main objective is to raise students' awareness of global issues and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to actively contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Recognizing that all SDGs are equally important for ensuring peace, prosperity, and a sustainable future for people and the planet, we have designed our activities to address as many of these goals as possible. In this context, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

-To motivate students to think critically and creatively about issues related to environmental sustainability, equipping them with the knowledge, values, attitudes, and practical skills needed to participate responsibly and effectively in protecting nature. Additionally, to encourage students to adopt positive lifestyle changes that help reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment,

-To raise awareness about each article in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, helping students internalize their rights and responsibilities, and inspiring them to protect and defend both their own rights and the rights of others. This will be grounded in core values such as equality, dignity, respect, and non-discrimination,

-To contribute to building a safer and more peaceful world by promoting inclusion and diversity among students, fostering a more inclusive school climate, and encouraging them to overcome biases toward those who are different from themselves. This will be supported by creating friendship networks among students at both national and international levels,

- To increase the number of individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset by equipping students with essential entrepreneurship skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, communication, and teamwork. Additionally, to provide opportunities for students to apply these skills in real-life contexts.
